About Radiant Remodeling

I’m Mike Shadoan, owner and operator of Radiant Remodeling, the design-build remodeling branch of Radiant Windows. We are based out of Oak Harbor, Ohio, and serve the Ottawa County area. Radiant Windows was founded back in 2001 and, as a natural progression, I opened Radiant Remodeling several years later in 2009. As a family-owned remodeling company, we provide full-service kitchen and bathroom remodeling. We are passionate about providing the highest-quality work and materials, coupled with unmatched customer service to all our customers. After all, we are friends and neighbors with many of you.

Many people ask what was the driving force behind our decision to start Radiant Remodeling?

In my 20-plus years in the home improvement industry, I have learned that most families have more than one horror story to share about a remodeling project gone wrong in their past. Did you know that the number one complaint to the BBB is home remodeling contractors? This is truly a travesty. Homeowners trust remodelers with their homes, their dreams, and their hard-earned money to help them to improve the comfort and beauty of their homes. How can anyone feel protected or safe when hiring a contractor to perform work on their home when there are so many dishonest contractors out there?

When I founded Radiant Remodeling in 2009, I set out to redefine the home improvement process and help protect the community from the ill-doings of dishonest contractors and poor workmanship and illegal operations. I wanted to establish a company that was so strong in its values, that each and every customer would feel at peace knowing that they and their home would be taken care from the first point of contact to the final completion of their project. I wanted to build a relationship with such a high level of trust with each and every customer that they would feel confident that our employees would treat them as if they were family. Once we have earned their confidence in our abilities we would set our common goals to meet or exceed their expectations throughout the entire experience.
